Drama Groups

VoiceAbility is pleased to announce a new drama group classes. Each class will take place on a Thursday night at the VoiceAbility Studios. The groups will be split into three age groups:

Junior Group - 7 to 11 year olds

Senior Group - 12-15 year olds

Adult Group - 16 +

Each group is designed to work will all abilities.

Sessions cost £5 per session but will be charged per half term, even if you can not make a session you will be required to pay so that you keep your place open. Half terms last 6 weeks and will cost £30 for 6 hour long group classes.

Junior drama offers a fun and exhilarating starting point for your child in acting. These lessons are taught by industry professionals who will deliver a wide range of skills and professional knowledge in a fun and exciting way. These classes no doubt build the confidence and imagination of your child. VoiceAbility also offers a pathway that your child can progress though which can lead to qualifications and obvious advantages in any career your child may choose. Each child will be required to book onto a half terms placement.

Senior drama aims to provide a fantastic creative environment for budding actors. In these sessions you will be taught drama techniques in a professional and enjoyable way. Throughout the group you will be asked to complete a number of tasks which will make you a more confident performer and give you an opportunity to experience performance first hand. Each half term will finish with an in house performance of the work that you have achieved. This can then lead to the opportunity for examinations and potential routes to auditions within the industry. Each student will be required to book onto a half term of 6 week at a time, different material will be covered each half term.
