VoiceAbility are currently registering on the voluntary OFSTED Register with registration expecting to be completed summer 2009, this underlines the high standards we aspire to. We are passionate about engaging and encouraging pupils to participate in performing arts, helping them to build confidence and to gather new skill sets that are important at a young age.
Recent workshops include drama workshops on social issues, gospel music, musical theatre and rock and pop vocals, and any workshop can be customised, with your input, to provide a tailor made service.
VoiceAbility offers private one to one or group lessons for Key Stages 2, 3 and 4, and also lessons for Sixth Form students. Through private lessons students can be entered for London College of Music singing and musical theatre examinations, and are currently running at a 100% pass rate up to and including diploma level. These exams count towards UCAS points and are extremely beneficial for university applications.
All tuition is provided by experienced staff, utilising respected international techniques that are widely used throughout the professional industry. Techniques are based on vocal biology which is important for any aspiring performer to understand.
Tutors can work within your school, or pupils can be taught at the VoiceAbility studios. Our services are available during school hours, in support of your curriculum, or after school, as an extracurricular activity. We also operate outside of school term times, if it is more convenient for you and your objectives.
The VoiceAbility studios are also available for hire as rehearsal space, with several studios of varying sizes being available. VoiceAbility can also provide recording facilities if you would like to arrange a recording for your school choir or music GCSE practical examinations. As a company we are “totally focussed on providing a flexible and responsive service to satisfy our customers’ needs”.
