Singing Groups
It is important for us to get an idea of how many people are interested in group drama classes. If you would like to attend group drama classes please sign up. We will be in contact to let you know when each class starts, when we have enough interest.
VoiceAbility is pleased to announce a new singing group classes. Each class will take place on a Thursday night at the VoiceAbility Studios. The groups will be split into three age groups:
Junior Group - 7 to 11 year olds - 6:00pm til 7:00pm
Adult Group - 16 + - 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Vocal Extreme - MONDAYS 6:00 - 7:00pm
Each group is designed to work will all abilities.
Sessions cost £5 per session.
Junior singing offers a fun and exhilarating starting point for your child to learn how to sing. These lessons are taught by senior VoiceAbility teachers who are professionals in their own right. They will deliver a wide range of skills and professional knowledge in a fun and exciting way. These classes no doubt build the confidence and musical understanding of your child. VoiceAbility also offers a pathway that your child can progress though which can lead to qualifications and public performances. Each child will be required to book onto a half terms placement.
Vocal Extreme is a singing (GLEE Style) group aimed for 12-17 year olds. The group focuses on building up performance standard pieces to perform in public. This will include working on vocal harmony, solo performance within the group and staging the pieces that have been learnt. This group is a great way for students to build their confidence and performance skills. Anyone serious about performing arts, this is the group for you!
This is social singing class, with mixed ability lessons provided. A great way to meet new friends whilst developing your singing skills. The sessions will be exciting and beneficial for anyone who is interested in the world of performing arts. These classes are fun and relaxed whilst giving you the knowledge to make you a more confident performer. These skills can help anyone who is interested in performance or would just like to build confidence in your singing! There will be regular oppotunity for performance and possible recordings as a group! You will be required to book onto a half term of 6 weeks; each half term will provide different material A fun and enjoyable way to enjoy singing!
